Iron Age Pork Hamper


Here we introduce a limited edition Iron Age Pork Hamper with extra Bute Beef & Haggis

Slow reared free range Iron Age (breed) Pork from the lovely Glenmore which runs from Ettrick Bay on Bute’s west coast up to the north of Bute. Iron Age Pigs? Their meat isĀ dark and full flavoured, like that of wild boar, but with the fat content of a Tamworth, making them highly prized by chefs and discerning home cooks alike. This is a chance to get your hands on this superb Pork selection delivered in time for Easter.

We have crafted a selection of cuts ready for slow roasting with skin deep scored for crispy crackling. We have made our Sicilian Sausages with the pork trim and minced some that will be perfect for Spanish style meatballs.

Adding in a few other items from our Beef and Mutton range this hamper is hard to beat.


1 Pork Loin ready to roast and carve approx. 800g to 1kg

2 Pork T Bones

1 Pork Shoulder 1kg

1 Pork Leg Roast 1kg

2 x 4 Sicilian Sausages

500g Minced Pork

1Kg Bute Silverside Roast

800g Middle 35 day dry aged mature Bute Sirloin Steak

500g Rump Steak Mince 95% lean

800g Rump of Bute Mutton ( slow pot roast for the best flavour ever)

1 Macqueen’s Classic Haggis

4 Pork Pies ( formed and ready to oven bake)
